Start Asking For What You Want

We are taught at a very young age to ask for permission. So when we become adults it can become a difficult habit to break.

I believe that asking for permission is really our way of asking for acceptance and approval as adults and can negatively impact us both personally and professionally.

In order for us to stretch and grow, we need to start asking for what we want. I have put this into play big time lately, and this is what I have learned:

* Getting clear on what I really want has been a journey.
* I have had to face my fear of rejection.
* Staying in forward motion and not getting lost in the outcome is key.

I ask you, Sisters and Brothers, to leave the habit of asking for permission behind. Today and everyday ask for what you want. The universe will reward you in ways you could never imagine for yourself.
